Reliance Retail Ltd. Has warned people about fraud in the name of fake website of its online retail grocery portal Jiomart and getting franchises through it. The company has clarified that it is not running a dealership or franchise model. The company said in a notice on Thursday, “We have received information that some selfish people are creating fake websites by pretending to be associated with Jiomart and cheating innocent people on the pretext of giving franchises of Jiomart services.”
“We want to make it clear to the public that at present the company is neither running any dealership or franchise model nor have we hired any franchisee or any agent to appoint a dealer,” the notice said.
